As with past years, the 2023 programme includes a wide variety of exhibitions, openings, award ceremonies, and tours. Read on for practical advice for planning your visit to Berlin Art Week—from information about ticket purchases to barrier-free accessibility and hotel recommendations.

A number of special events, exhibitions, and openings can be attended free of charge during Berlin Art Week. Please visit the respective locations for more information on ticketing and admission prices.

Some events such as guided tours, performances, and screenings require advance registration. Information on how to register can be found at the respective event.

This year’s festival centre ›BAW Garten‹ will take place at Neue Nationalgalerie. During the entire festival week, visitors are invited, open air and free admission, to discover a diverse programme: from performances to workshops to drinks after work or a snack in between—the events, which will change daily, will offer something for everyone. BAW Garten will also provide information on the overall programme of Berlin Art Week as well as the various tours on offer, so that you can set off from here to explore the whole city.
